Soccer: LWU women post 2025 schedule Entering his 23rd season as head coach of the Lindsey Wilson women's soccer program, Drew Burwash has released the Blue Raiders schedule for the 2025 campaign. According to the NAIA's final Rating Percentage Index of 2024, Lindsey Wilson boasted the nation's number one strength of schedule and looks well on its way to carrying the same this time around. This season's 14-game slate includes eight teams ranked 23rd or better in last year's postseason coaches' poll, as well as five conference tournament champions, and nine total NAIA national tournament qualifiers. The Blue Raiders open their calendar at home for the first time since 2021 when they host River States Conference champion Oakland City (IN) on August 22, 2025, followed by an in-state match with Union Commonwealth (KY) on August 26, 2025, both at Walter S. Reuling Stadium, 151 Holloway Drive, Columbia, KY. Lindsey Wilson's first trip away from Walter S. Reuling Stadium takes place in Decatur, Alabama on August 30, 2025, where Southern State Athlete Conference champion William Carey (MS) awaits. Then, on September 6, the Blue Raiders travel south to Jackson, Tennessee to face off against Oklahoma Wesleyan. Mid-South Conference play begins at Ray Wells Field on September 16 when the Blue Raiders welcome Georgetown (KY). Later that week, Lindsey Wilson ventures to Michigan to challenge Crossroads League champion Spring Arbor (MI) on the 20th. Home bouts with Continental Athletic Conference champion Georgia Gwinnett - October 12 - and former in-league rival Tennessee Southern - October 16 - round out the non-conference schedule. As for the rest of the Mid-South slate, Lindsey Wilson hosts Cumberland (TN) and Bethel (TN), and battles Campbellsville University, Freed-Hardeman (TN), and defending conference tournament champion Cumberlands (KY) on the road. The 2025 Mid-South Conference tournament begins the week of October 29, 2025, and concludes on November 11, 2025. All tournament matches will be played at the higher seed.
