Danny E. Stone, 72, Columbia, KY (1953-2025)

Danny E. Stone of Columbia died on Saturday, July 5, 2025 at TJ Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow. He was 72 years old.

The funeral service will be held at 2pmCT on Friday, July 11, 2025, at Columbia Church of Christ, 501 Jamestown Street, Columbia, KY, with Wes Stone officiating. Burial will follow in Haven Hill Cemetery.

Visitation is requested after 10amCT on Friday at Columbia Church of Christ.


He was born June 23 1953, in Adair County to the late John Jackson and Kathleen Scott Stone. Danny was a member of Columbia Church of Christ and retired from the Kentucky Department of Transportation.

Survivors include:
  • His brother - Billy Stone of Columbia
  • His uncle - Jimmy Stone (Phyllis) of Columbia
  • Several cousins, other relatives and friends
Casket Bearers - Lenny Stone, Bobby Joe Pelly, Ron Stone, Mike Johnson, Darrell Burton, Bobby Stone
