Basketball: Lady Indians improve to 4-0

By Trey Stephens, Staff Writer

The Adair County Lady Indians Basketball team remains undefeated in summer ball action. On Tuesday, June 10, 2025, they knocked off Leslie County 52-32 to improve to 4-0.

The Leslie County Lady Eagles came off a 10-17 season that ended in the first round of the 54th District Tournament. However, they are a team that only graduated two seniors, neither one of whom were massive scoring contributors, combining to make up just 5% of the scoring and 12% of the rebounding from last season.

With this win, the Lady Indians have now outscored their summer opponents a combined 217-168, for an average margin of victory well into double digits. The Lady Indians will keep rolling and keep improving as summer goes on and they work towards the season.
