Basketball: ACHS Varsity 2-0 in Lindsey Wilson Shootout By Trey Stephens, Staff Writer Adair County Boys Basketball played their first games of the Lindsey Wilson Shootout on Wednesday, June 11, 2025. The varsity team went 2-0 on the opening day, with an 87-46 win over Thomas Nelson and a 42-35 win over Green County. The game against the Green County Dragons was a very physical back and forth game that was tied 18-18 at the half. In the game against Green County, the team was led in scoring by Dawson Gilbert with 17, followed by Landon Blakey with 14. Other scorers for the Indians were Samuel Feese with six and John Shehan with five. The team struggled with turnovers at times and with stamina towards the end of the Green County game, but overall played well enough to get the win.
