Clara Adams, 78, Cave City, dies at Norton's Hospital Was a member of Highland UMC and was active in quilting Clara Adams, 78, of Cave City, passed away Friday, March 10, 2006 at Norton's Hospital in Louisville. She was born in Chicago, Illinois to the late William Dewey and Iva Mae Keltner Baker. Mrs. Adams was a member of Highland United Methodist Church, an avid quilter and gardener, a member of the American Quilters Society and the Quilting Friends Club in Glasgow, and a homemaker.She was preceded in death by two sisters; Bertha Marie Baker and Ruby Baker Land, and one brother; Thomas Baker. Funeral services were conducted at 11:00 am, Monday, March 13, in the chapel of Winn Funeral Home, Cave City, KY, with burial in Cave City Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Highland United Methodist Church. She is survived by her husband, T.J. Adams, Cave City, KY, and the following:
