Ricky Lynn Keltner, 56, Columbia, KY (1968-2025)

Ricky Lynn Keltner of Columbia passed away on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at Norton Hospital in Louisville. He was 56 years old.

Funeral services will be held at 1pmCT on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg St., Columbia, KY, with Bro. Barney Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in the Haven Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be after 10amCT on Tuesday at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home.


He was born in Columbia, Ky on June 27, 1968, to the late Johnny Wayne Keltner and Violet Coffey Keltner of Columbia, KY who survives. He was also preceded in death by a sister Judith Elaine Keltner.

In addition to his mother Violet, he is survived by his son Riley Keltner of Shepherdsville, KY; two brothers Brad Keltner (Ann) and Rod Keltner (Margena) both of Columbia, KY; his companion Sherri Giles of Columbia, KY; his niece and nephews Stevie Keltner Paiz (Kadin), Jacob Keltner (Taylor), and Thomas Keltner.

Rick was a member of the Milltown Church and enjoyed music, and was an avid Cincinnati Reds baseball, University of Kentucky sports, and Dallas Cowboys fan.

Pallbearers will be Kevin Shepherd, Doug Lewis, Jacob Keltner, Thomas Keltner, Timmy Ellis, and Talmadge Kemp.
