Tom Caldwell, 80, Taylor County, KY Tom Caldwell of Campbellsville, son of the late William Morton Caldwell, Sr. and Odessa Shankle Caldwell, was born January 25, 1945 in Jefferson County, Kentucky. He died Thursday, February 27, 2025 in Campbellsville, aged 80. Tom served his country honorably in the United States Army Reserves. He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Bethel First Presbyterian Church. He worked for Eastern Airlines for 26 years, was a former news anchor for the Big Dawg WVLC 99.9FM, and retired from owning and running a real estate brokerage in Campbellsville. Tom was united in marriage to Julie Gaffin on May 9, 1970. Besides his wife, Julie Caldwell of Campbellsville, Tom is survived by two sons: Todd Caldwell and wife, Cami of Highlands Ranch, Colorado and Brian Caldwell and wife, Shannon of Lone Tree, Colorado; eight grandchildren: Emily Caldwell, Sarah Caldwell, Heath Caldwell, John Caldwell, Luke Caldwell, Sam Caldwell, Brayden Caldwell and Charlotte Caldwell; one sister, Marilyn Gauvin of Westminster, Massachusetts; several other nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death in 2015 by his brother Morton Caldwell. FUNERAL SERVICE: 1pmET Friday, March 7, 2025 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville by Rev. Jim Murphy and Rev. Paul J.
