Marcus Edward Pierce, 68, Burkesville, KY

Marcus Edward Pierce, age 68 of Burkesville, Kentucky passed away on Tuesday, February 25, 2025. He was born on October 26, 1956 in Cumberland County, KY to the late Ernest Russell Pierce and Inis Riddle Pierce.

He was retired from R.R. Donnelley and was of the Baptist faith.


In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by the following siblings, Russell Pierce, Everett Pierce, Irvin Pierce, Hubert Pierce, Cortis Pierce, Kenneth Pierce & Lureda Pierce.

Survivors Include a daughter - Allison Shaw (Freddie) of Burkesville; a sister - Shirley Murphy of Burkesville

Three grandchildren - Adam Shaw (Olivia), Evan Shaw and Charlea Shaw

Funeral Services: Sunday, March 2, 2025 at 3pmCT at Ballou & Stotts Funeral home, 304 N Main Street, Burkesville, KY with Bro. Nathan Boils officiating and burial in Burkesville Cemetery. Family requests visitation from noon until time for the service.
