Lannie Dale Pierce, 75, Green County, KY Lannie Dale Pierce of Greensburg, Kentucky, son of the late Delbert Pierce and Naomi Oakes Pierce, was born on Tuesday, June 7, 1949 in Green County and departed this life on Tuesday, February 4, 2025 at University of Louisville Hospital. He was 75 years, 7 months, and 28 days of age. He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. He worked as a mechanic at Kessler Automotive and loved to be a part of the Emmaus Walks and Prison Ministry. He is survived by his wife: Gail Hodge Pierce of Greensburg, having united in marriage on December 12, 1974. Other survivors include a son and daughter-in-law: Brian and Jan Pierce of Greensburg; two daughters and sons-in-law: Veronica Bradbury Benson and James of Crestwood, Samantha Bradbury Turner and Carlos of Columbia; seven grandchildren: Oak Pierce, Hayden Garrett both of Greensburg, Haylee and Lane Burton, Mekensie and Brandon Kelly all of Columbia, James and Reaghan Benson, Alex and Sara Benson, Justin and Megan Benson all of Crestwood; two great grandchildren: Hayes Benson, Boden Benson; one sister: Pearldean Jeffries of Greensburg; one brother and sister-in-law: Darel and Julie Pierce of Shepherdsville. The funeral services for Lannie Dale Pierce will be conducted at 12noonCT Saturday, February 8, 2025 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial to follow in Green County Memory Gardens. Bro. Meryl Young officiating. Visitation is requested after 8:30am Saturday until time of the funeral service. The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to Kosair Children or Gideon Bible Fund which can be made at the funeral home.
