Dimple Darlene Vetter Gumm, 86, Greensburg, KY Dimple Darlene Vetter Gumm of Greensburg, Kentucky, daughter of the late John Vetter and Mattie Lee Carter Vetter was born on Friday, January 6, 1939 in Greensburg and departed this life on Sunday, February 2, 2025 at TJ Health Columbia. She was 86 years and 27 days of age. She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Summersville Baptist Church. She was united in marriage to Shelby Ping Gumm on December 6, 1975, who preceded her in death on February 22, 2019. Survivors include two step daughters and step sons-in-law: Sherri and Tim Larimore of Bowling Green, Jackie and J.W. Bennett of Greensburg; one step granddaughter: Kate Breeding and Charles of Columbia; two step great-grandchildren: Kemma Breeding and Elsie Pearl Breeding of Columbia; one brother and sister-in-law: Randall Vetter and Judy of Campbellsville; one sister-in-law: Jo Norman; two cousins: Debbie Temple and Kenneth Vetter; and a host of other relatives and friends. Other than her parents and husband, she was also preceded by many other relatives and friends. The funeral services for Dimple Darlene Vetter Gumm will be conducted at 1pmCT Friday, February 7, 2025 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Green County Memory Gardens. Bro. Daniel Marcum officiating. Visitation is requested after 10 until time of the service. The family has requested that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Gideon Bible Fund or the Summersville Baptist Church which can be made at the funeral home.
