Charles E. Handy, 73, Columbia, KY (1951-2024) Charles Edward Handy of Columbia died on Friday, November 8, 2024 at 1:32 A.M. at Hildegard Hospice House in Louisville. He was 73 years old. The funeral service at 1pmCT on Monday, November 11, 2024, at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville Street, Columbia, KY. Burial will follow in Columbia Cemetery. Visitation is requested after 5pmCT on Sunday. He was born July 4, 1951, in Adair County, to the late Herbert and Edna Bernard Handy. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Bernie Handy and three sisters, Shirley Vincent, Charlotte Handy and Shelia Mae Handy. Charlie was a member of the Church of Christ, formerly worked at Sandusky Sales and was a self-employed businessman. Survivors include:
