Flora Alyne Rush, 87, Cumberland County, KY Flora Alyne (Riddle) Rush of Burkesville passed away Friday, November 8, 2024 having attained the age of 87 years and 1 day. She was born on Sunday, November 7, 1937 in the Hegira Community of Cumberland County, Kentucky the daughter of Ronald Isaac & Dora Helen (Wray) Riddle. She was a Christian Lady, longtime member of The Mt. Pisgah United Baptist Church (Bow Schoolhouse), a retired machine operator for Mither & Scott Machine Co. in Indianapolis. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, William Hall Riddle, sisters, Lucy Kathryn Capps & Elsie Grace Spears, niece, Rebecca Stockton. She is survived by her Husband, Willie Earl Rush of Burkesville whom she wed Friday, September 22, 1954, Nieces, Carol (& Bob) Stroup of Batavia, Ohio, Joan (& Bro. Gary) Hardin of Burkesville, Beverly Spencer of Milford, Ohio, nephew, Roger Wade (& Gail) Riddle of Goldsboro, North Carolina, Great Nieces & Nephews, Missy (& Robert) Eglian, Jason (& Kate) Stockton, Rebecca (& Bro. Mark) Price, Angela (& Anthony) Jones, Great-Great Nieces & Nephews, Sam Stockton, Lucy Stockton, Ryan (& Mariah) Eglian, Jane Stockton, Wil (& Michala) Price, Justin Eglian, Micah Price, Dylan Eglian, Dawson (& Kasey) Jones, Matthew Jones, Great-Great-Great Nephews, Finn Price & Stetson Jones. The Funeral Service will be conducted on Sunday, November 10, 2024 at 2pmCT in The Memory Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home in Burkesville with Bro. Gary Hardin, Bro. Joey Bunch & Bro. Jeff Flowers officiating. Burial will be in the Bow Schoolhouse Cemetery in Cumberland County, Kentucky. The Family will receive friends after 5 Saturday, November 9, until the funeral hour on Sunday. In lieu of flowers memorials appreciated to the Bow Schoolhouse Cemetery in her memory.
