Pumpkin Patch Parade on the Square in Edmonton By Kim Harwood, Executive Director Edmonton Metcalfe County Chamber of Commerce Fall is a busy time as we plan for festivals, football, banquets, and holiday shopping. The Edmonton-Metcalfe County Chamber of Commerce will once again host the Pumpkin Patch Parade around the Square and in the courtyard. We encourage businesses, Churches, organizations, and individuals to decorate the square and store windows. If you do not have a business on the square and you want to set up a display for your business, contact the Chamber office about setting up in the courtyard, (270) 432-3222. Courtyard displays may be set up as of Monday, October 7th after the Pumpkin Festival. This is to ensure your display remains intact before judging. Let's color the square with fall and make this year's Pumpkin Patch Parade around the square the best one yet. Pumpkin Patch Parade judging will be Monday, October 21st with Metcalfe Money awarded to the winning entry for: Most Creative $25.00 Cutest Display $25.00 Funniest Display $25.00 Scariest Display $25.00 Best of Show $100.00 Last year's 2023 winners that we hope will vie for this year's title: Most Creative - Metcalfe County Public Library Cutest - Metcalfe County Conservation District Funniest - MainStreet Barber Shop Scariest - Dile Realty, Paul Cloyd Best of Show - Butler Funeral Home This story was posted on 2024-09-22 00:20:32
