Emily Griffitt Anderson murder case: Update Feb. 14, 2006 Indictment Links provided to latest stories in Lenoir and Hickory newspapers about the indictment Monday of Jerry Anderson in Lenoir, NC Stories out of North Carolina report that Jerry Anderson was indicted for the murder of his wife, Emily Griffitt Anderson, a woman who grew up in Columbia, KY and lived in Cane Valley recently while working in Columbia. The Caldwell County Grand Jury indictment came Monday, February 13, 2006. The story also has an interesting passage about how Jerry Anderson still gets the support of his pastor at Dry Ponds Baptist Church. It says that Jerry Anderson still maintains his innocence, but that Sheriff Clark says that Jerry Anderson is the killer.
