J.C. Huff, 67, member of Sparksville Church of the Nazarene

He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict, and had been employed at Columbia Baptist Church, Adair County Board of Education, and Columbia Housing Authority
J.C. Huff, 67, 103 Butler ST, Columbia, KY, Formerly of the Breeding community, passed away Friday, February 10, 2005, at the Taylor County Hospital, in Campbellsville, KY.

The funeral service will be Sunday, February 12, 2006, at 2:00 p.m. at the Sparksville Church of the Nazarene with Bro. Lonnie Karnes, Bro. Darrell Landis, and Bro. Larry Wisdom officiating. Visitation will be after 4:00 p.m., Saturday, February 11, after 4:00 p.m., at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg ST, Columbia, KY.


Mr. Huff was a member of the Sparksville Church of the Nazarene, a veteran of the Korean Conflict, and a former maintenance worker having worked at the Columbia Baptist Church, Adair County Board of Education, and Columbia Housing Authority.

He was the son of the late Otis and Betty Rachel Middleton Huff.

He is survived by his wife, Fannie Wiliams Huff, Columbia, KY, and the following:
  • Two daughters: Lyda Rochelle "Shelly" Wilson and her husband Pat of Columbia, KY; and Tammy M. Huff, Glens Fork, KY

  • One son: Gregory W. Huff, Columbia, KY

  • One sister: Helen Kelly, Harlan County

  • Two half-brothers: Robert Huff and Doyal Huff, both of Harlan County

  • Two half-sisters: Louise Colo of California; and Fay McQuiston, New Hope, AL

  • Two grandchildren: Chad Huff and Julie Wilson

  • And a host of other relatives and friends
Interment will be in Fudge Cemetery at Breeding, KY.
