David Griffin, 35, Casey County, KY (1989-2024) David Griffin, of Liberty, passed away on Saturday, August 10, 2024. He was 35. Born on March 16, 1989, he was a son of Eddie Griffin, Sr. and the late Brenda Louise Johnson Brock. David was a supervisor at the Casey County Detention Center. He loved farming, hunting, and fishing. David is survived by his wife, Jessica Luttrell of Liberty, who he wed on October 31, 2017; four sons, David Allen Griffin, Clarence John Griffin, Andrew Ray Griffin, and Braxton Dale Griffin; three daughters, Elizabeth Renee Griffin, Skylar Leeann Griffin, and Addison Marie Griffin; two brothers, Eddie (Deanna) Griffin, Jr. and Daniel Griffin; and his best friend, Jamie Daniel. The funeral service will be held at 12noonCT on Wednesday, August 14, 2024, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home with Bro. Roger Stevens officiating. Burial will follow in Bowmer Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 on Tuesday. Pallbearers will be David Allen Griffin, Jamie Daniel, Gary Luttrell, Jermey Luttrell, Justin Luttrell, Christopher Harmon, and Greg Bennett.
