Brenda Baker, 66, Albany, KY (1958-2024) Brenda Gayle (Dunbar) Baker of Albany, and formerly of Columbia, passed away on Wednesday, June 26, 2024, at Pickett County Care and Rehabilitation Center in Byrdstown, TN. She was 66 years old. Funeral services will be held at 11amCT on Friday, June 28, 2024, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg St., Columbia, KY. Burial will follow in the Antioch Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday from 5pmCT until 8pmCT, and will continue Friday morning until time for the service at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home. She was born on April 1, 1958, in Louisville, KY to the late Edward and Mildred Friese Dunbar. She was also preceded in death by a son Scotty Waters. Mrs. Baker was a member of the Sparksville Church of Nazarene. Brenda was a talented country and gospel singer, recording many records and she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Survivors include her husband Larry Baker of Albany, KY; two sons Dustin Wilt of Owensboro, KY and Cory Waters of Louisville, KY; two stepchildren Russell Baker of Albany, KY and Tammy Druin (Chad) of Panama City Beach, FL; seven grandchildren Kolton Wilt, Kaydan Wilt, Allison Wilt, Angel Waters, Cassidy Waters, Kadence Waters, and Gabe Waters; a sister Cindy Goate and several other friends and relatives.
