Lindon H. Wray, 79, Columbia, KY (1945-2024) Lindon Howard Wray of Columbia went to his Heavenly Home surrounded by his loved ones on Wednesday, May 29, 2024 at the Medical Center at Bowling Green. He was 79 years old. The funeral service will be held at 1pmCT on Saturday, June 1, 2024, at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville Street, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Ralph Foster and Bro. David Wray officiating. Burial will follow in Bearwallow Cemetery. Visitation is requested after 4pmCT on Friday. He was born in Cumberland County, Kentucky, on April 15, 1945, to the late Charlie and Ora Bullock Wray. Lindon was a long time member of Bloomington Chapel Brethren in Christ Church, where he enjoyed playing the guitar and mandolin. He was also a founding member of the Bloomington Faith Singers. His favorite pastimes were spent antiquing, going to yard sales and spending time with his family and friends. Leaving to cherish his memory is his wife of 58 years, Darlene Streeval Wray of Columbia, two brothers, Rosco Wray and Buddy Wray both of Indiana, two sisters-in-law, Joyce Wray and Laverne Wray, along with several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 10 siblings, Bernice VanArsdale, Frances Scott, Ernest Wray, Roy Wray, Udell Wray, Paul Wray, Cecil Wray, Sonny Wray, Russell Wray and Arnold Wray. Casket Bearers: Kenneth VanArsdale, Louis VanArsdale, Rodney Wray, Robert Wray, Jonathan Reynolds, David Streeval Honorary: Edward Streeval, Dylan Collins, Stevie Turner, Terry Denton, Jacob Blair, Jeffrey Streeval Grissom-Martin Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
