Ott Cox, 81, Casey County, KY (1943-2024) George Stevenson "Ott" Cox, age 81, of Liberty, KY, passed away on Saturday May 25, 2024. He was born March 24, 1943, in Casey County, KY, a son of the late Joel and Pina Johnson Cox. Ott was a farmer and a member of Carrs' Chapel Church of God. Survivors include: his spouse: Wilma Murphy Cox, one daughter: Shannon and (Allen) Pendleton of Liberty, one son: Tommy and (Jessica) Passmore of Liberty, four grandchildren: Britt and Micah Pendleton, Bradley, Bella and Bailey Passmore, four brothers: Ronald and (Geraldine) Cox of Liberty, Lonnie and (Gwen) Cox of MA, Fairley Cox of Liberty, Joe and (Lisa) Cox of Liberty, three sisters: Rose Gillock of Liberty, Gail and (Gary) Reid of Hustonville and Betty McQueary of Liberty, one half-brother: Shirley Johnson of IN and one half-sister: Geneva King of IN and a host of nieces and nephews and his Carrs' Chapel Church family. Preceding him in death besides his parents was six sisters: Mossie Wilson, Georgie Garcia, Ike Atwood, Roxie Cochran, Pina Pemberton, and Limmie Peyton and six brothers: Ed, Elgie, Hardin, Lemuel, Garnett and Billy Cox. Visitation will be held 6 till 8pmET Wednesday May 29, 2024, at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Services will be held 1 Thursday May 30, 2024. Bro. Doug Roberts and Bro.
