Arnold Walters, 77, Russell County, KY (1946-2024) Arnold Walters, of Russell Springs, passed away at his residence Saturday, May 11, 2024. He was 77 years of age. Born August 2, 1946, in Jabez, he was one of fourteen children born to Ollie and Lillie Tucker Walters. Arnold was a former employee of Knauf's Fiberglass in Shelbyville, Indiana, and Emerson Chair Manufacturing, in Russell Springs. He enjoyed fishing and making furniture from pieces of driftwood. Arnold attended Ono Community Church. His family and friends loved him very much and will miss him dearly. Survivors include three sons, Darrin (and Melinda) Walters, of Columbia, Shane (and Barbara) Walters, of Russell Springs, and James (and Jennifer) Walters, of Russell Springs; a daughter, Christina (and Jerry) Bryant, of Clarksville, Tennessee; three brothers, Grady Walters, of Shelbyville, Indiana, Richard (and Ann) Walters, of Somerset, and Eugene (and Susie) Walters, of Russell Springs; one sister, Lois Dora, of Greensburg, Indiana; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; as well as many other extended family members. In addition to his parents, Arnold is preceded in death by three brothers, Leonard Walters, Ollie Walters, Jr., and Walter Walters; and six sisters, Elsa LaFavers, Nettie Morrow, Louise Morrow, Betty Robuck, Dorothy Walters, and Norma Foster. Funeral services are 2pmCT Tuesday, May 14, 2024, at Bernard Funeral Home with Bro. Asa Wooten officiating. Burial will follow in Holt Cemetery.
