TIME TRAVEL SURVEY: James Gang at Judy Giles' grandmother's

Story was told to her by Ellen Bryant Grant, who was born in 1869
To the editor

I was looking at your TIME TRAVEL SURVEY and the different events that have taken place in Adair Co. over the years.

I was reminded of the story my great grandmother told. Her name was Ellen Bryant Grant and she was born in Adair Co. in 1869.

When she was just a little girl-around three-the Great Bank Robbery of The Bank of Columbia took place. She said the James Gang came by their house and asked to water their horses the day of the Robbery.I live in Adair Co.
