Willie Jackson Bragg, 88, Prices Creek Missionary Baptist

Funeral services will be held for Willie Jackson Bragg, 88, Monday, January 30, 2006 at 2 p.m. at his home church, Prices Creek Missionary Baptist.

Mr. Bragg passed away Friday at his home in the Prices Creek community where he had been a lifetime farmer. Visitation begins this afternoon after 2 p.m. at Grissom Funeral Home, and will continue Monday after 11 a.m. at the church. Bro. Danny Wayne Sexton and Bro. Danny Dickson will officiate at the service with burial in the Bragg Family Cemetery.

He was the son of the late William Jackson and Lizzie Thompson Bragg.

Survivors include:
  • His wife of 65 years, Artie Elmer Richards Bragg, of Edmonton

  • Four children: Lyddie Mae and her husband Austin Bingham of Glasgow; Austin Thomas and his wife Linda Bragg of Edmonton; William Ray and his wife Brenda Bragg of Glasgow and Mike Bragg of Columbia.

  • One sister, Beulah compton of Columbia.

  • Six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
