Adair CO School Bd. Meets at John Adair Thurs., Jan. 19, 2006 + Agenda

There will be a Special Regular School Board meeting on Thursday, January 19, 2006, at 6:30 p.m. This meeting will be held at John Adair Intermediate School Auditorium instead of the Adair County Board of Education conference room.

This meeting is considered a Special Regular School Board meeting due to the change of location. Please note that the time is 6:30 p.m.

The meeting is open to the public. A public forum on the nutrition and physical activity report will begin the meeting. Readers should carefully read the long agenda for this meeting, which includes an unusally large number important decisions.

Especially noteworthy are the election of school board officers for 2006 and selection of regular meeting times and location.

Also, there will be an update on the ACTIV white boards badly needed for all schools, and especially for the new Adair County Elementary School.

In December, the board meeting was also held in this auditorium. The auditorium comfortably accommodates a much larger audience than the cramped school board conference room.
