Arts Council to meet August 10 in Columbia

Adair County Arts Council, "Embrace the Arts, In and Around Adair County" will meet at 6pmCT August 10, 2023 at the Training and Development Center, Lower Level, 201 Burkesville Street, Columbia.


We will need a volunteer Secretary for this meeting due to Karen Roland being out of town!

Agenda items will include: 1. Report on ideas for Adair Arts to Sponsor. Taking small steps into being a Sponsor for a variety of Events

a. Responsibilities, volunteers and costs involved with a music event [Canceled]
b. Report from Darlene Campbell - writers conference in the Spring

2. Idea to explore suggested by David Goguen - Art Series within Adair Arts - each meeting a member shares a "mini" art lesson with the members present

3. ACAC website and Directory: are works in progress - Alan will report on this in September

4.Tabled topics

Logo Contest We need a logo! Open to anyone with an idea!

You do not have to be classified as a graphic designer to submit a design
