Which supplies are most helpful for Green River Animal Shelter?

Green River Animal Shelter reports they've had several requests lately for a list of things they need and use on a daily basis. They are grateful for any and all help from generous donors and for in memory gifts. The following items are always in need at the shelter:

  • Bleach
  • Bleach tabs
  • Pine-Sol
  • Lysol
  • Fabuloso
  • Laundry detergent
  • Dish liquid
  • Pinalen
  • Odoban (Dollar Store carries this)
  • Fabric sheets
  • Toilet bowl cleaner
  • Dry dog food (we use Retriever from TSC)
  • Dog treats
  • Dry cat food
  • Wet cat food (prefer gravy over paste)
  • Cat treats
  • 55-60 gallon heavy duty garbage bags
  • 14 gallon garbage bags
  • Paper towels
  • Cat litter (non-clumping)
  • Arm & Hammer for litter boxes
  • Kitten and puppy food (wet and dry)
  • Pee pads
  • Small hand towels
  • Spray disinfectant
  • Scour Daddy (or Momma)
  • Air freshener
  • Tarps and zip ties
  • Flea spray or drops
  • Gallon of peroxide
  • Pill pockets
  • Detachable clipper blades #10

Other ways to help: Bliss Club is collecting supplies for GRAS
The Bliss Club is collecting donations for the animals in honor of National Dog Month in August. You can drop off donations for the shelter at the Extension Office through August 4, 2023 and they'll deliver them for you.
