RCAWL Cats-only Spay and Neuter Clinic The Russell Co. Animal Welfare League is taking appointments for neutering of male cats at their Wednesday, June 21, 2023, Cats-only Spay and Neuter Clinic. The cost for surgery is $45/cat. Services included are spay/neuter, a yearly booster vaccination, and a rabies vaccination (if age appropriate). The clinic will be held at the DAV (formerly the VFW), 155 Owenstown School Road, Russell Springs, KY. Note: there are no remaining appointments for female cats for the June 21 clinic. We do still have many open appointments for male cats. We have grant funds available for Russell County pet guardians age 65 and older. The grant funds will allow us to provide veterinary services to your pet at no cost. Read this post in its entirety before scheduling an appointment. To request an appointment, please click here and complete the form: https://forms.gle/qoqXGpLMx8PS3PRa8 You must complete the entire form to schedule an appointment. Once your form is successfully completed, you will receive a confirmation message. If you do not receive the confirmation message, your appointment is NOT made. This is the ONLY way to make an appointment. Appointments can not be scheduled by phone, email, or on Facebook. Appointments will be filled on a first come, first served basis. Please note that there are a limited number of slots for males/females, so while we may have an opening remaining for a male cat, that does not mean we still have an opening for a female cat. We follow the scheduling protocols set forth by our veterinarians. Within 48 hours of receiving your appointment registration, we will email you with confirmation of your appointment and a link where you can make payment. You MUST make payment within 48 hours of receiving our email confirmation. If you do not pay by the deadline, you WILL NOT have an appointment reserved for you. (Please do not contact us to confirm receipt until at least 72 hours have passed since you submitted your appointment form.) If you have any questions, please email us at RussellCountyAnimalWelfare@gmail.com. Our clinics are managed by a small group of volunteers and phone calls are difficult for us to return. If you leave a phone message, it may be several days before a volunteer is able to return your call. This story was posted on 2023-06-16 09:07:21
