Norman Bell, 76, Columbia, KY (1947-2023) Norman Dean Bell of Columbia passed away on Saturday, May 13, 2023, at his residence. He was 76 years old. Military honors, provided by VFW Post 6097, will be held at 2pmCT on Friday, May 19, 2023, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg St., Columbia, KY. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery in Bowling Green, KY. Visitation will be on Friday from 11amCT until time for the service at 2pmCT at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home. He was born on March 12, 1947, in Summersville, MO to the late Norman Emmett and Vera Maxine Powell Bell. He was also preceded in death by his wife Jane Ann Williams Bell and a brother Ronald Edmond Bell. Mr. Bell was a veteran of the Vietnam War serving in the U. S. Army and was an outdoorsman, enjoying fishing and boating. Survivors include his fiancee Cindy Bradshaw of Columbia, KY; a daughter Kim White of Bowling Green, KY; four stepchildren Anthony Curry (April), Joseph Curry (Kristi), Adam Curry, and Adriane Curry all of Columbia, KY; a sister Sharon Hix of Comanche, TX and three grandchildren and twelve step-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to the funeral home to assist with funeral arrangements. Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
