Vivian Matthews, 64, Columbia, KY (1958-2023) Vivian (Burton) Matthews of Columbia passed away on Friday, May 5, 2023, at her residence. She was 64 years old. Funeral services will be held at 11amCT on Tuesday, May 9, 2023, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg St., Columbia, KY, with Bro. Ralph Foster officiating. Burial will follow in the Bearwallow Cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday from 4pmCT until 8pmCT, and will continue Tuesday morning until time for the service at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home. She was born on May 20, 1958, in Franklin, IN to the late Donald and Mildred Burton. She was preceded in death by her husband David Matthews. Mrs. Matthews attended the Bloomington Chapel Brethren in Christ Church and enjoyed flower gardening and spending time with her family and friends. Survivors include two sons Christopher David Matthews (Samantha) of Columbia, KY and Clinton Matthews (Dawn) of Georgetown, KY; two grandchildren Trevor Matthews (Jacey) and Hunter Matthews; a great granddaughter Josie Matthews and one on the way; five siblings Donnie Burton (Mary) of Franklin, IN, Troy Burton (Paula) of Princes Lakes, IN, Arcena Burton (Larry) of Franklin, IN, Devela Lawson (Jackie) of Princes Lakes, IN, and Tina Julbert (Jonathan) of Franklin, IN; two stepbrothers Stanley and Jeff Curry of Indiana; a stepsister Jackie Crawhorn of Indiana and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband she was also preceded in death by a stepsister Melissa Burton. Pallbearers will be Trevor Matthews, Hunter Matthews, Billy "Douchy" Matthews, Travis Burton, J.
