To the Nines, Lanterns and Tombstones Friday night

It's the first Friday of May, which means To the Nines, the downtown social and shopping event, will begin at 6pmCT. Stores on and around the Columbia Public Square will be open until 9pmCT.

The first Friday also means another Lanterns and Tombstones Columbia City Cemetery Walking Tour, guided by Mike Watson & Dave Thomas. Mike Watson says, "We are on schedule for 7pm this evening. There is no specific theme this month, but there are interesting connections that will be revealed during the tour. We plan to proceed unless it is raining at start time."

The Tour tour usually lasts 45 to 60 minutes, and takes place each month throughout the year--April through September, culminating with the annual Silent City Tour of 2023. Each month the Tour and narration will be different from the previous months.
