Basketball: 16th District HS Tournament starts Sunday

The 16th District Basketball Tournament is set to tip off on Sunday, February 19, 2023, at Metcalfe County High School, 208 Randolph St, Edmonton, KY. Metcalfe, Cumberland, Clinton, Monroe, and Russell Counties are in the 16th District.

Cumberland and Russell Co. girls kick things off at 3pmCT, followed by Cumberland and Russell Co. boys at 4:30pmCT. Tickets are $5 cash at the door for ages 6 and up (5 and under are free).


Coaches' cards are good for cardholder plus one.

There will be four entrances. People with parking passes will enter on the lower side. There will be one gate entrance for general parking in the front of the high school, along with two in the back. Note: Due to roof construction on the high school, the regular courtyard entrance in the back has been blocked off. The courtyard entrance at the middle school cafeteria will be open, along with the back entrance of the high school by the loading dock.
