Heads up on winter weather potential

Mike Keltner, Director, Adair Co. Emergency Management sends word of the potential for wintry weather in the coming week.

The National Weather Service in Louisville said on Friday that confidence is increasing on having some wintry weather impacts across the region starting Monday night and continuing into Wednesday, perhaps even into Thursday. Right now the confidence for ice accumulations (central KY) and some snow (southern IN) is highest during that early Tuesday through Tuesday night period.

For Wednesday and Thursday, the wintry potential will depend on if precipitation lingers over the Ohio Valley or sinks into the Tennessee Valley area.
