Bowling: LWC Women inside top 15 at Burris Memorial

Louisville, KY - The Lindsey Wilson women's bowling team wrapped up the 2022-23 regular season on Sunday afternoon with a 15th-place finish in the Thomas N. Burris Memorial Tournament.

The Blue Raiders accumulated 6,278 total pins, which is a 162-pin improvement from Saturday's Lynne Jordan Memorial Tournament.

Maylee Price paced Lindsey Wilson with a high score of 226 en route to a tournament average of 198.6 and a 23rd-place overall finish.

Jacqueline Oliphant knocked down 935 total pins behind a 187.0 average to garner her 35th place, followed by Makayla Melson in 98th (180.25).

Abigail Oswald (125th), Tara Manis (134th), Haven Crawford (138th), Brooklynne Carroll (139th), and Janna Plains (141st) also represented the Blue Raiders in the field of 179 total bowlers from 22 different schools.

Lindsey Wilson is next in action at the 2023 Mid-South Conference Championships on February 9-11 in Bowling Green.
