Dorene Miller, 90, Adair Co., KY native (1932-2022) Dorene Miller of Campbellsville died at 2:53 A.M., Tuesday, December 20, 2022. She was 90 years old. The funeral service will be held at 1pmET on Tuesday, December 27, 2022, at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Ave., Campbellsville, KY, officiated by Rev. Earl West and Grant Bays. Burial will follow in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens. Visitation is requested from 10amET until 1pmET on Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home. Dorene Miller, daughter of the late Robert L. Dowell and Eunice Rea Rogers Dowell, was born March 29, 1932 in Adair County, Kentucky. She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Hogards Chapel United Methodist Church. Dorene was a bookkeeper with Taylor County RECC after thirty-seven years of service. She united in marriage to Dale Miller March 22, 1953 and he preceded her in death September 19, 2014. Dorene is survived by two daughters: Ann Moss and husband, George of Campbellsville and Pattie Hartman and husband, Bill of Hanover, Indiana; five grandchildren: Jeremy Smith and wife, Lisa, Jamie Smith and wife, Trena, Megan Bell and husband, Clay, Grant Bays and wife, Abbie of Campbellsville and Amanda Ellington and husband, Johnny of Berea; twelve great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Linzie Dowell. The family would like to say a special thank you to Kristy, Karen and Gayle with Hosparus of Green River, as well as Cindy Willar, Lisa Mitchell and Veronica Parker for their time spent caring for Dorene at home.
