Phyllis Lemke, 75, Louisville, KY (1947-2022) Phyllis Marie Lemke of Louisville passed away on Monday, December 19, 2022 at Signature Healthcare East. She was 75 years old. The family chose cremation, and no services are scheduled at this time. Phyllis Marie Lemke, the daughter of the late John Medley and Mary (Spaulding) Stuteville was born April 29, 1947 in Marion County, KY. She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was of the Catholic Faith. She was a former owner of a cleaning service for many years. Phyllis enjoyed gardening and playing the slot machines, but most of all, spending time with her grandchildren. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her step-father: Tom Stuteville; a brother: Bobby Medley and a grandchild: Alex Gupton. Survivors include her husband: John Lemke, Jr., of Louisville; a daughter: Beth Gupton and husband Darren of Campbellsville; a son: Alan Lemke and wife Lauren of Mt. Washington. Also surviving are four brothers: Ronnie Medley and Kenny Medley both of Florida, John Medley of North Carolina and Art Medley of Tennessee; five grandchildren: Sawyer Lee, Jake Gupton, Saylor Lee, Hannah Gupton and Jaxon Lemke and a host of other relatives and friends.
