Prentice (Popcorn) Wyatt, 82, Greensburg, KY (1940-2022) Cledith Prentice "Popcorn" Wyatt of Greensburg passed away on Thursday, December 15, 2022 at Campbellsville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was 82 years old. Graveside service for Prentice "Popcorn" Wyatt will be conducted at 1pmCT on Monday, December 19, 2022, at the Green County Memory Gardens, with Bro. Steve Lee officiating. A family only visitation will be held from 10amCT until 12:30pmCT on Monday at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home prior to graveside service. Cledith Prentice "Popcorn" Wyatt, son of the late Governor Taylor Wyatt and Sally Edna Long Wyatt, was born on Saturday, December 7, 1940. He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Campbellsville Church of Christ. He was a retired line worker for the former Clark Casual Furniture Mfg. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Cheryl Jean Eyerman Wyatt on September 26, 1993. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law: Michael and Elaine Wyatt of Campbellsville; a daughter and son-in-law: Tammy Lynn and Jason England of Campbellsville; four grandchildren: Rachel Wyatt, Sarah Wyatt, Brandon Walls, Justin Walls all of Campbellsville; one great grandchild: Vincent Cole Walls of Campbellsville; two brothers: Benjamin Wyatt of Greensburg and Johnny Wyatt of Russell Springs; a sister: Judy Nunn of Greensburg; a brother-in-law: Donald Judd of Greensburg. He was also preceded in death by a son: Phillip Carl Wyatt on January 23, 2012. The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take form of donations to Family Burial Fund, which can be made at the funeral home. Pallbearers: Dewayne Clark, Brandon Walls, Justin Walls, Joey England, Jason England Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences at cowherdandparrott.com.
