Jimmy Bryant, 82, Burkesville, KY (1940-2022) Mr. James Keith "Jimmy" Bryant of Burkesville, Kentucky died Wednesday, December 14, 2022 at his residence in the Dutch Creek Community of Cumberland County, Kentucky, having attained the age of 82 years, 10 months, & 11 days. The funeral service will be conducted at 1pmCT on Friday, December 16, 2022 in the Memory Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home in Burkesville, Kentucky, with Bro. Todd Bryant officiating. Burial will be in the Dutch Creek Cemetery in Cumberland County, Kentucky. The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 15, 2022, after 6pmCT until the funeral hour at the funeral home. He was born in Burkesville, Kentucky on Saturday, February 3, 1940 the son of Elmer and Bernie (Walker) Bryant. He was a Christian Man of the Methodist faith, member of Dutch Creek United Methodist Church, was a machinist for Tyson Bearings, and loved his Nascar Racing. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, William Douglas Bryant, sister, Betty Groce, brother-in-law, Charles Acree, grand son-in-law, Corey Murphy. He is survived by his wife, Linda Lou (Ballard) Bryant, whom he wed on Wednesday, July 19, 1961, children, Stephanie (& Tommy) Young, Tim (& Pattie) Bryant, Todd (Chriss) Bryant all of Burkesville, Kentucky, siblings, Faye Acree of Burkesville, Kentucky, Helen McCoy of Nashville, Tennessee, grandchildren, Bryant (& Kenzie) Young, Jason Strange, Codi Murphy, Doug (& Anna) Bryant, Elijah (& Katlyn) Brown, Ross (& Samantha) Polston, great-grandchildren, Skylar Young, Cara Murphy, Cassisdy Murphy, Remi Polston, Ryder Polston, Maddox Newport, Bryleigh Young, along with several other family members and many, many friends Norris-New Funeral Home in Burkesville, Kentucky is honored to be in charge of arrangements.
