Special Advent Season film at CUMC on Friday From Doug Beard Everyone is invited attend our special services at Columbia United Methodist Church as we celebrate the Holy season of Advent. On Friday, December 2, 2022, we will be hosting a special event as we learn the true story behind the hymn "Silent Night." At 6pmCT there will be hot beverages and pastries in the CUMC Parlor. Then at 7pmCT, a beautiful film will be presented in the sanctuary which tells us how the world's most famous Christmas carol was composed and first performed over two hundred years ago. You may be shopping downtown for the "To the Nines" event. Include this beautiful program as a part of your night. It will be a blessing! This story was posted on 2022-11-28 07:03:51
