The Adair County Republican Party will hold a meeting at 6:30 p.m., tonight, October 17, 2005, in the basement of the Courthouse Annex.

County Chairman Perry Reeder will preside at the meeting.

The meeting is open.

The agenda will include a discussion of critical dates between now and the election, candidates for open offices, registering new voters, and the dates for changing parties.

If the special election to recall the Adair County School District's Nickel Tax becomes a reality, the registration books will be closed 30 days before the special election day and 7 days afterward.

The meeting is open to anyone wishing to support Republican candidates in the 2006 election..
