Bonnie (Sunshine) Kimbler, 98, Russell Springs, KY (1924-2022) Bonnie "Sunshine" Selby Kimbler of Russell Springs passed away on Monday, November 14, 2022, at Taylor Regional Hospital, in Campbellsville. She was 98 years old. Funeral services are scheduled for 1pmCT on Thursday, November 17, 2022, at Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, 367 N. Main St., Russell Springs, KY, with Bro. Craig Huddleston officiating. Interment will follow in Russell Springs City Cemetery. Visitation will be held after 11amCT on Thursday, until time for funeral services. Sunshine was born in Russell County on January 9, 1924, daughter of the late F.L. and Cleo Phelps Selby. She was a loving mother and homemaker. Sunshine was a faithful member of Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church. She is survived by her sons, David (and Pat) Kimbler and Gary (and Deborah) Kimbler, both of Russell Springs; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren. Along with her parents, Sunshine is preceded in death by her husband, William Byron Kimbler, who passed away June 16, 1995; her sister, Cleolyn Weston; and her granddaughter, Sharmel Gray. Pallbearers will be Patrick Kimbler, Drew Kimbler, Craig Leach, Darrell Selby, Cameron Hudson and David Towery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mt. Pleasant Church.
