Riley Passmore, 73, Jamestown, KY (1949-2022)

Riley Passmore of Jamestown passed away on Friday, November 11, 2022, at Fair Oaks Health Systems. He was 73 years old.

The funeral service will be held at 11amCT on Friday, November 18, 2022, at Mt. Calvary Community Church in Dunnville, KY, with Bro. Clifton Cowan officiating. Burial will follow in the Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery, Decatur Rd., Dunnville, KY.

Public visitation will be held at 5pmCT on Thursday, November 17 at Mt. Calvary Community Church in Dunnville, KY.


Riley was born in Dunnville, KY on March 2, 1949, a son of the late Leora (Lane) and Jim Passmore.

Riley is survived by:
  • His wife, Margie (Decker) Passmore, of Jamestown, KY
  • Two sons Lee Passmore, of Dunnville, KY; Kelvin (Tim) Hernandez, of Lexington, KY;
  • Two step daughters, Beverly Dalton, of Jamestown, KY; Elizabeth Bennett, of Somerset, KY;
  • A step son, Roger Ferell, of Somerset, KY;
  • Four sisters, Genova Copley, Edna Grimsley, Irene Grimsley, all of Dunnville, KY; Louann Caldwell, of Jamestown, KY;
  • Two brothers, William Passmore, and Danny Passmore, both of Dunnville, KY.
  • 7 grandchildren
  • 11 step grandchildren
  • 3 step great grandchildren
He is preceded in death by his parents, first wife Edna Fay Passmore, sister Louise Lafavers, 2 brothers Fairley and J.D. Passmore.
