Danny Black, 79, Liberty, KY (1943-2022) Danny Victor Black of Liberty passed away on Saturday November 5, 2022, at the U.K. Hospital. He was 79 years old. Funeral Services will be held at 1pmET on Thursday November 10, 2022, at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel, 142 KY Hwy 49, Liberty, KY, with Bro. Jerry Burton officiating. Burial will be in the South Fork Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4pmET until 8pmET on Wednesday November 9, 2022, at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel. He was born January 18th, 1943, in Casey Co., KY, a son of the late Victor Clarence and Chelsie Marie Abell Black. Danny was a former Police Officer for the City of Liberty, a former Casey County Sheriff's Deputy, a former dispatcher, and a member of Athens Church of Christ. Survivors include: His Spouse: Connie Goforth Black, Three Daughters: Lisa Sue Coffman of Liberty, Victoria Lynn and (Scott) Wilkerson of Freetown, IN and Sylvia Marie and (Jeffrey A.) Hatter of Yosemite, One Son: Joseph Oscar and (Yazmin) Black of Indianapolis, IN, Eight Grandchildren and Five Great Grandchildren. Preceding him in death besides his parents was One Daughter: Betty Ann Black who passed away on July 31st, 1966, One Grandson: Eric Scott Wilkerson and One Brother: Joseph Edward Black.
