Larry Tucker, 77, Russell Springs, KY (1945-2022) Larry Tucker of Russell Springs passed away on Friday, November 4, 2022, at Russell County Hospital. He was 77 years old. Funeral services are scheduled for 2pmCT on Sunday, November 6, 2022, at Bernard Funeral Home, with Brother Hershel Lawhorn officiating. Burial will follow in Holt Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11amCT to 2pmCT on Sunday, November 6, 2022, at Bernard Funeral Home. Born May 17, 1945, in Cincinnati, Ohio, he was a son of the late Avery and Virginia Popplewell Tucker. Larry was a former employee of the Cudahy Cheese Company. He was known as a hard worker and enjoyed talking on the CB radio, where his handle was "Coon Hunter." Larry was an avid fisherman and coon hunter. Survivors include his loving wife of fifty-five years, Louanna Brown Tucker of Russell Springs; one son, David Tucker of Russell Springs; and two sisters-in-law, Peggy (and Donald) Luttrell of Windsor, and Mary (and Steve) Evans of Campbellsville. A host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, extended family, and friends also survive. In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by one brother, Ricky Tucker; and one sister, Barbara Wilson. Funeral arrangements for Mr. Larry Tucker are entrusted to Bernard Funeral Home.
