Annual Book Fair for 2022 is Friday, Nov 4

The Adair County Area Book Fair is here: November 4, 2022, from NoonCT until 6pmCT at the Columbia Baptist Church, in conjunction with "To The Nines". There are various local authors who will be available to sign their works. This is a great time to Christmas shop, and locate those hard-to-find special birthday, anniversary and special day presents.

Just about every genre will be present from local history to genealogy, from fiction to non-fiction, from self-help to memoir, from photography to poetry, from inspirational to Christian fiction, from children to adult, and almost everything in between.


We are excited to announce Ann Gabhart and Steve Flaherty direct from the Kentucky Book Festival with great selections!

Regional and local authors will include: Ernestine Smith Bennett with her County Stores volumes, Darlene Franklin Campbell with her wonderful works, Fr. Patrick Dolan, Steve, Flaherty, Ann Gabhart, Dwan Hadley with his inspirational volumes, Trudy Chelf Harden, Dr. Marshall Myers, Doug Peterson with a brand new book on faith, Mig Preisinger, Tim Roy, Lou Ann Russell, Marshall Smith, Lanny Tucker will have his fiction and photography books as well as a new selection about television westerns, Linda Marcum Waggener, Mike Watson will have Adair County history and genealogy, Barbara Wright has a new Green County genealogy book and all her others as well, the Green County Genealogical Society will have history and genealogy, and others.

The following organizations will have information booths: Adair County Library and Genealogy & History Research Center, Adair Genealogical Society, Adair Heritage Association, Daughters of American Revolution, Lantern & Tombstones Cemetery Tours, and others.
