Sharing historic photos from Tupman collection

Jimmy Tupman of Columbia shared some of his family collection of keepsake photographs. We were able to place each in good light and take smartphone pictures of them so they don't have to be carried away from their location.

The photos linked to this article are from his father, Norris Tupman's, collection. One of the pictures we'll post is from the old Adair County News office when it used to be located in the corner of the Public Square.

We are fortunate to have shared collections that show us life here in days gone by and Columbia Magazine welcomes them always. For details on how to send them, just click 'contact form' below and it will provide numbers to call or text.
