Doc's Market partners with Adair School District athletics

Doc's Market has made a significant commitment to support the Adair County School District's athletics program from their business sales.

The announcement came Friday morning with Athletics Director Craig Biggs, Josh Kemp and Chaz Giles beside the store's number one fuel dispenser newly tagged with the ACHS Tribe logo.

A percent of sales on this pump will go to the school system athletics program in perpetuity.

Kemp said, "this commitment from our business was inspired by the school board's decision to hire Coach Biggs fulltime and invest in athletics for all of our children." Kemp and Giles are partners in the Market with Dr. Chuck Giles whose office is nearby.

Coach Biggs said he is hoping this participation in athletics jumpstarts relationships like this from other businesses.

Giles said he grew up participating in Adair County athletics and believes it's important for all students. He has one future athlete and one on the way.

Kemp agrees on the importance of athletics for children. He has three athletes in the school system now.
