Edward Lee Robertson, 70, Russell Springs, KY (1952-2022) Edward Lee Robertson of Russell Springs passed away Monday, September 26, 2022, at Russell County Hospital. He was 70 years old. Funeral services are scheduled for 2pmCT on Wednesday, September 28, 2022, at Bernard Funeral Home, 367 N. Main St., Russell Springs, KY, with Bro. Richie Curtis officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery. Visitation for the public will be from 11amCT on Wednesday, until time of services. Born April 25, 1952, in Russell County, he was a son of Irene Wilson Robertson and the late Elvin Robertson. Edward was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish. His time spent in the woods led his wife, Arlene, to give him the nickname "Daniel Boone". He was a member of Pine Grove Separate Baptist Church. Survivors include his beloved wife, Arlene Chumbley Robertson, of Russell Springs; his mother, Irene Robertson McFarland, of Russell Springs; a son, Mark (and Angela) Robertson; a daughter, Penny (and Harold) Stanelle, both of Russell Springs; two brothers, Kenny (and Lori) Robertson and Russell (and Sheila) Robertson, both of Russell Springs; four grandchildren, Blake Robertson, Logan Stanelle, and Dylan Stanelle, all of Russell Springs, and Hannah (and Walker) Karnes, of Columbia. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Pine Grove Cemetery Fund, 5540 South Hwy 76, Russell Springs, KY 42642.
