Marilyn (Pat) Perkins, 91, Campbellsville, KY (1931-2022) Marilyn (Pat) Joan Hennessee Perkins passed away on Monday, September 26, 2022 at her son's home in Athens, AL. She was 91 years old. The funeral service will be held at 11amET on Friday, September 30, 2022 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Ave., Campbellsville, KY, officiated by Bro. Bill Perkins and Bro. Chris Clark. Burial will follow in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens. Visitation is requested from 5pmET until 8pmET on Thursday, September 29, 2022 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home. Marilyn (Pat) Joan Hennessee Perkins was born on September 21st, 1931 in St. Louis, Missouri, to the late William F. and Florence I. Hennessee. She was married to the love of her life, James R Perkins, for 56 years when he passed in 2003. She was baptized into Christ in Greasy Creek during a Gospel Meeting, and served the Lord faithfully as a member of the Church of Christ. She was a graduate of Green County High School. After raising her children she worked 6 years in the cafeteria at Taylor County High School, a job that she loved. She was a member of the Walnut Grove Homemakers club, an outstanding cook, and supportive of all of her children's endeavors. She is survived by one daughter, Patty Reynolds (Steven) of Campbellsville Kentucky and 3 Brothers: Kenny Perkins (Dian) of Franklin, Kentucky; Jim Perkins (Denise) of Georgetown, Kentucky; and Bill Perkins (Elayne) of Athens, Alabama. She has 8 grandsons and 3 granddaughters; 21 Great Grand Children, and 1 great-great Grandchild and a great many friends in Kentucky, Tennessee and Alabama. She is preceded in death by 1 daughter Peggy Clark (Steve) of Campbellsville. Expressions of sympathy requested to be donations to St. Jude Children's Hospital and may be made at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home. Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
