Nellie Livesay, 94, Campbellsville, KY (1928-2022) Nellie Livesay of Campbellsville passed away on Monday, September 19, 2022. She was 94 years old. The funeral service will be held at 1pmET on Friday, September 23, 2022 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Ave., Campbellsville, KY, officiated by Rev. Paul J. Dicken. Burial will follow in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens. Visitation is requested from 5pmET until 8pmET on Thursday, September 22, 2022 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home. Nellie Livesay, daughter of the late Alfred Gumm and Mattie Ann Seaborne Gumm, was born January 19, 1928 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Shiloh Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Nellie was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville after thirty-six years of service. She united in marriage to Thomas Livesay September 10, 1949 and he preceded her in death October 18, 1977. Nellie was a strong and amazing woman and endured hardships with grace and never lost her faith. Her family considered to be a most loving person. Nellie is survived by four sisters: Carol McClure and Peggy Houk of Campbellsville; Christine Forrest of Indiana and Irene Barnett of Munfordville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by a son, Donnie Livesay and three brothers and one sister: Buck Gumm, Johnny Gumm, Haskell Gumm and Imogene Harris.
