James E. Sharp, 84 James E. Sharp, 84, 1260 Fairplay RD, Columbia, KY, passed away Saturday, September 24, 2005, at 1:50 p.m., at the University of Louisville Hospital in Louisville, KY. The funeral service will be Wednesday, September 28, 2005, at 11:00 a.m., at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg ST, Columbia, KY, with Rev. William Davenport and Bro. John Reilly officiating. He was the son of the late Vanus Lee and Mary Josephine Gadberry Sharp of Adair County, KY. Mr. Sharp attended Trinity United Methodist Church and was retired from Western Electric in Chicago, IL. He was preceded in death by his wife, Pauline Eris Harvey Sharp, on March 22, 1974, and later married Mary Meyer Sharp, who survives in Columbia, KY. Besides his wife, he is survived by the following:
