Nanette Hammons Wethington, 69, Casey County, KY Nanette Hammons Wethington, of Liberty, passed away on Saturday, September 10, 2022, at University of Kentucky HealthCare. She was 69. Born on January 25, 1953, in Casey County, Kentucky, she was a daughter of the late William "Bob" and Audrey Clements. Nanette was a cook. She was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church. She enjoyed helping with things at church, reading, gardening, sewing, shopping, and spending time with her family. She is survived by her husband, Dale Wethington, of Liberty; two daughters, Claire Michelle Payton of Liberty and Tara (Greg) George of Russell Springs; two grandchildren, Courtney George and Breanna George; and a great-grandchild, LillyAnn George. Other survivors include three brothers, Kent (Cathy) Clements, Brent (Tracy) Clements, and Phillip Clements; two sisters, Lena Beth (Gary) Luttrell and Mary Lee Eads; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a sister, Sheila Burton; and two former spouses, Shannon England and Lee Hammons. The funeral mass will be held at 1pmET on Wednesday, September 14, 2022, at St. Bernard Catholic Church with Father George Otuma officiating. Burial will follow in St. Bernard Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10-12:30pmET on Wednesday, September 14, 2022, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be George Lawhorn, Tom Wethington, Murrell Wethington, Greg George, Caleb Clements, and Donald Clements.
